Major programs are listed as being developed in the following areas: 1) to assist all Wyoming public libraries in reaching minimum state goals; 2) to strengthen statewide workshops, institutes, and inservice training programs which are calculated to upgrade existing manpower resources and eliminate inefficiencies on the state and local level; 3) to help public libraries to serve minority and disadvantaged populations; 4) to improve the ability of state institutional libraries to serve their patrons; 5) to expand library services to the physically handicapped, including the blind; 6) to strengthen the capacity of the State Library to perform its functions; 7) to provide funds for library construction and remodeling; 8) to offer drop shipment of library materials to all tax supported libraries of Wyoming; and 9) to perform miscellaneous tasks which do not fall under one of the other headings. Brief descriptions of the major activities of each program are provided. (LB)
