Along with the descriptions of many existing programs, suggestions are made for possible topics, materials, and formats for the training of a variety of personnel: teachers, professional library/media personnel, paraprofessionals, aides, and volunteers. Consideration is also given to the design of university sponsored programs and of state and national library/media conferences. (SL)
