Besides the basic research described, the total project produced a set of 300 slides with annotated listing, picturing the performing arts and places related to them; a set of three seven-inch reels, double track tape with 52 annotated musical examples from music and dance; and the 216 page monograph describing the basics for each of the classical arts of music, and dance and Sanskrit drama. Complete sets of these materials are available from the following: Cultural Affairs Office, Government of India; College of Indian Music, Dance and Drama, M.S. University of Baroda; the Madras Music Academy; The National Sangeet Natak Academy, Delhi; the Maharaja's Museum, Jaipur; and the Bird Library, Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York. Each part of the project is capable of standing alone. The combined media provide a means of self-instruction for an independent course of study. Glossary and bibliography are included.
