The first part of the Proceedings refers to some activities of the board, such as working groups. Activities of ICSU AB member unions and member countries in all aspects of scientific and technical information are described in the second part. The third part reports a discussion on "The Role of Government in Information Transfer." The fourth part deals with a session on the International Serials Data System (ISDS) with particular reference to the present status and the problems of a national center. The fifth part comprises reports by member services and by selected observers. Finally, a discussion on indexing is reported. (Author/WCM)
