The Minimobile carries a paperback book collection and audiovisual equipment. Its multilingual staff presents programs designed to attract new library users. The van stops at daycare centers, schools, housing projects, and service centers. Community acceptance of the Minimobile and increased library use by Black and Spanish-speaking residents demonstrate the success of the service. (PF)
