A ten-point check list on binding quality, a future look at maintenance of library materials, and the "Library Binding Institute Standard for Library Binding" (revised) comprise the closing chapters. The 13 appendixes include technical terms in library binding, library binding budgets, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission "Trade Practice Rules for the Library Binding Industry," and "Instructions on Salvaging Water-Damaged Books."
