Broadcast media explored include AM and FM radio and UHF and VHF television. Two systems of computer-assisted instruction, TICCIT and PLATO IV, were examined as was Bell Systems' Picturephone. Attention was devoted to application of interactive networks to library systems. The report contains 22 tables and seven figures and appendixes outlining the basic principles of PLATO IV which allows CAI to be transmitted by ordinary telephone lines. (SK)
