The title of this new edition, "Borinquen," is the Spanish form of the original Indian name of the island which was later called Puerto Rico. The contents are organized into nine sections: General Works, History, Social Sciences, Language, The Arts, Biography, Films, Records, and Literature. The latter section is subdivided into four parts: General Works, Fiction, Poetry, and Theatre. The titles included in this list were selected by a committee from the staff of the New York Public Library. (Author/JM)
