During the study two user evaluation meetings caused some improvements to be made, particularly in the area of working more closely with faculty members in exploring the scope and depth of searches to be made. The final evaluation disclosed that faculty members particularly appreciated the time saved by the service and the comprehensive, up-to-date searches. Many planned to make greater use of the service. The conclusion reached by the study was that the project contributed significantly to improving the quality and quantity of the teaching and research conducted by faculty users and did it in a cost effective manner. The appendixes include a list, with brief descriptions, of the 29 computerized information bases; the evaluation instruments and user comments; a list of searches performed; and a tally of searches provided for each university department.
