And Others Cataloging College Libraries Computer Programs Computers Data Processing Library Automation Library Technical Processes Program Descriptions Programing Languages Systems Analysis This report is a description of the history, development, and present state of the University of Sydney Library Catalog Data Entry System. The system has been designed for use on an IBM System 360/20 using assembler programing language. While its primary objective is the generation of machine-readable catalogs, a byproduct of the system has been the production of printed catalog cards. Brief descriptions of related library automation activities are also given. (Author/DGC)
