Students using the JCL simulation assume the position of director, from initial hiring procedure to assumption of the position and involvement in the institution. The students are exposed to a number of the more common manuals, reports, forms, and personnel data found in a public library. They are provided with sufficient information to allow them to analyze and evaluate the library and to make numerous necessary administrative decisions.
