- University of Wisconsin System Videotape Catalog. Third Edition. Schwarz, Philip, Comp. Catalogs Higher Education Videotape Recordings A comprehensive listing is provided of videotapes available from the University of Wisconsin system to its faculty and students. Included are: (1) locally produced videotapes of lectures, instructional demonstrations, and speeches; and (2) videotapes of off-air broadcasts or film transfers. The catalog is divided into three sections, the first of which contains an alphabetical listing of the videotapes. Entries are provided for individual titles, series titles, and individual titles within a series; in addition, data are given relating to annotations, running time, intended audience, color, university source, date of recording, producer, and appropriate cross references. Section 2 consists of a Key-Work-Out-of-Context title index which serves as a rough subject index and as a search aid for users who know only part of a given title. Section 3 presents a subject listing of all the videotapes in the collection, arranged alphabetically within subject areas according to the Library of Congress Subject Listing. (Author)
