These include services both inside and outside the library: the selection of staff to work with the young adults, cooperation between the library and other agencies, planning special programs, making contact with and encouraging participation of the young people, developing a collection for them, and analyzing costs. A list of source materials is included, along with lists of publishers, magazines, and non-print media sources and some examples of popular titles. There are examples of several library programs for young adults and a list of suggested readings. (LS)
