Results of a survey (using the Delphi technique) to forecast research needs in library and information education, and to establish priorities, are tabulated. A list of major research needs includes the improvement and updating of the skills of professional librarians, and improvements in library school planning. Other needs are listed in decreasing order of importance. (LS) |
