Due to research and specialized methods of teaching, graduate students search for a broad range of material instead of using reading lists and course reserves. In the future, a lack of funds will require that libraries cooperate and seek additional methods to provide the graduate student with information and instruction in the use of the library. Automated information systems, media programs, the publication of library guides, and bibliographic instruction could be added to traditional library services for the benefit of graduate students.
