Defining bibliographic instruction as instruction in the use of library materials rather than library orientation, the panelists talked about the development of library instruction programs in academic libraries, from setting goals and objectives to evaluating the programs. The modes of instruction discussed included regular courses, course-integrated instruction, seminars and minicourses, and print and nonprint instructional units. (LS)
