Evaluation instruments were developed for discovering present student and faculty library use and faculty attitudes toward the library, with the idea of comparing student use patterns before and after the library instruction program. The student questionnaire evaluated students' knowledge of systematic literature search techniques. Faculty were questioned on their own needs for information about library materials and search techniques, their surmises about student library knowledge and skills, and any instruction they may have given students about using the resources in their fields. Tables of data and copies of the questionnaire are included. (LS)
