Results listed the most highly regarded courses for both the elementary and the secondary specialists. In addition, the subjects rated the importance of various media specialist functions, and "selecting and evaluating resources" received the highest rating. The opinions of the specialists reflected a pragmatic orientation and were influenced by the credentialing criteria of their respective states. This document discusses the research methodology that was employed, outlines the results, and makes recommendations for future media specialist education. (EMH) |
