The report describes the science program which was developed and is in operation in the Montgomery County Public School District (Rockville, Maryland). An emphasis of the program is to maintain continuity between all levels of the school science curriculum. To provide this, an overview of the entire science program is presented, along with sections listing instructional activities, science materials, textbooks, and equipment for each of the three two-year "frameworks" which make up the total program. Appendices list annotated library titles under appropriate content areas as well as library resource books, textbooks, pamphlets, and teacher's guides which are most helpful to instructors in the program.
