Although this model was designed specifically for one community college, it offers a good guide to other groups interested in establishing such a center. This paper was presented at the C.G.C.A. Convention (Vancouver, B.C., June 1975) as part of a slide presentation; however, the slides are not included in this document. The paper begins with the basic reasons why a career resource center was desirable and proceeds through the necessary phases including collection and selection of resources, acquisition procedures, processing and coding, personnel necessary, and difficulties encountered.
