Begun in 1969 and in full operation since 1971, the network is designed to increase interaction among societies and to bring about social development. This report describes the network-wide applications of PEACESAT. The network is designed for medical news, education, science, community, library, and national information exchange within the 12 nations participating in PEACESAT. The report concludes with a brief description of a PEACESAT users' conference and a chronology of the project. (RB) |
