It examines the possible applications of such a service, estimates costs per class and per user, and outlines the objectives, evaluation procedures, and costs of a two-stage feasibility study of the program. Results of discussions with instructors and students concerning the program and examples of on-line searches conducted for different courses are presented and discussed. (Author/CH)
