Books College Libraries Library Collections Acquired for the United States Military Academy in the early nineteenth century, the Thayer collection embraces almost every discipline and comprises some 1,000 books and 500 charts and maps. A recent restoration of these manuscripts has emphasized maintaining the integrity of the originals.
