In an introductory section, sources of information on state level planning, interstate cooperative agencies, and American Library Association involvement in library cooperation are listed. Other sections cover: bibliographies and directories of library cooperation, national level planning and programs, state and interstate level planning and programs, and individual approaches to multitype library cooperation.
