At the end of one year the achievement of the experimental and control groups was tested using an adaptation of the Curriculum Assessment Guide of the Pennsylvania Training Model. The experimental group achieved more levels in all four areas tested--auditory, tactile, visual, and communication. In the course of using various materials with the children, librarians compiled a bibliography of materials which evoked a favorable response from fifteen or more children. The bibliography lists and describes successful equipment, material kits, pictures, 16mm films, flannelboards and puppets, records, talking books, tapes, filmstrips, and books. (KB)
