This program consists of a minor in English with a specialty in children's literature, an interdepartmental (English, speech, and library science) major in literature and drama for the young, and a master of arts degree in English, with a concentration in children's literature. The majority of undergraduate students are prospective teachers, while the majority of graduate students are teachers in service. Response to the program has been enthusiastic. (JM) |
