It is presented in five parts: (1) the workshop planners, (2) planning the program, (3) the day of the workshop, (4) evaluation and followup, and (5) information sources. The major part of the guide is concerned with program planning and covers needs assessment, objectives, audience definition, selection of time and place, equipment and materials, presentation techniques, speakers, budgeting, kit materials, display plans, announcements, and agenda.
