The papers included are: (1) Public Library Programs and the Arts, a discussion of the public library as a cultural center, fostering the arts in its community; (2) Trends in Contemporary Music, a discussion followed by a bibliogragraphic survey of selections from recent literature and basic information sources; (3) Modern Architecture/Art, a synopsis of the seminar discussion with bibliographies on both subjects; (4) Trends in Contemporary Movies, a brief discussion of content, technology, and style, with a bibliographic survey; and (5) Funding for the arts, a brief survey of the current situation with a bibliography on private and public sources of funding.
