It outlines steps necessary for creating a career education resource center. Concern is given to the librarian's role in integrating the library's resources with ongoing career education activities in the school. Guidelines and suggestions are given for four responsibilities in establishing a career education resource center: (1) the collection-- scope, acquisition and organization; (2) the program; (3) the librarian's preparation-- background, role definition, and checklist of activities; and (4) goals and projections for the future.
