It is divided into seven parts: Part I covers directories; Part II lists several bibliographies; Part III includes articles and books of a general, introductory nature which deal with various aspects of networks; Part IV covers existing networks in America and multi-state networks. A brief section entitled Medical Services follows, describing networks and services for Hospital and Health Science Libraries. Various aspects of the technology of networks, telecommunications, and computers are covered in Part V, while Part VI deals with questions of the organization, funding, governing, and legal basis of networks. The final section is entitled National Networking.
