The citations are divided into 13 main categories: bibliographies, periodicals and newspapers, directories, general works, description and travel, immigration and foreign relations, biographies, Revolution of 1911, Chinese Empire Reform Party, political activities, socio-economic conditions, education and culture, and Hawaiian imprints in Chinese. This bibliography covers primarily what the Chinese have done in Hawaii over the past 100 years.
