The two main areas of this continuing research and development programme are (1) development of a comprehensive SDI service and (2) investigations in interactive retrieval services. This annual report gives an account of the activities performed and the results achieved, during the fiscal year 1974-75. Included within the report are descriptions of: (1) system development and implementation; (2) information services; (3) marketing and user education; (4) user contract and profiling; (5) information processing; (6) back up services; and (7) clerical and administrative activities. Tables illustrate the new profiles per month and database; the distribution of queries on user categories and the number of searches per month. Diagrams and appendices are included. (Author/AP) |
