Gene Bibliographies Check Lists College Libraries Library Services Library Surveys Reference Services Use Studies A checklist of bibliographies available from the Reference Department of the Indiana State University Library was mailed to each member of the faculty and administrative staff in an effort to improve communications. The list included bibliographies which has been compiled by the library staff within the past five years. Two hundred persons (out of 965 faculty and administrators) responded, and 2,224 copies of bibliographies were requested. Statistics gathered were helpful in providing the Reference Department with information regarding the interest in bibliographies shown by various administrative units and the subject areas which were of greatest interest. There were also requests for additional or expanded bibliographies as a result of the checklist mailing. A copy of the checklist is included. (Author/JAB) |
