contents Data for Massachusetts Public Library Personnel Report. FY 1976. Comparative Analysis Demography Librarians Library Personnel Library Surveys Personnel Data Public Libraries Salaries Statistical Analysis Statistical Data Tables (Data) A standardized reporting format is being used by Massachusetts public libraries to provide another approach in identifying comparable libraries and to facilitate comparison of employee salary ranges and other personnel data. Tables list libraries by population group with corresponding data on current salary ranges, number of full time and part time employees, length of work week, highest educational level attained by employees, and fringe benefits. Summary tables arranged by population group and regional affiliation provide additional comparative data on: (1) high maximum, average maximum, and low maximum salaries for selected positions; (2) distribution of educational levels; and (3) fringe benefits. Data on financial support and library activities and an experimental analytic report accompanying this report are listed as related documents. (JPF)
