A part of the family core curriculum, this unit on home management includes instruction in nutrition, health, grooming and impressions, clothing and dress, and home care. A course guide precedes the individual instructional units and provides the following information: a description of the course, rationale, prerequisites, objectives resources, general instructions, components, evaluation procedures, follow-through instructions, and a course pretest with answer key. The course posttest is included at the end of all the instructional units. Each instructional unit also includes a pretest and posttest. In addition, the units provide overviews, performance activities, information sheets, and study guides. An orientation guide for the instructor (CE 014 652) and a teaching guide (CE 014 648) are also available. (Additional Mountain-Plains curriculum materials, including the other twenty-one curriculum units, are available for on-site inspection at the Research Library at the National Center for Research in Vocational Education at Ohio State University).
