This guide describes the Mountain-Plains curriculum delivery system which basically consists of a series of individualized learning activity packages, guides to their use, matching tests, and a method of keeping track of student progress. Chapter 1 of three chapters discusses the philosophy, nature and common elements associated with individualized instruction, and delineates the Mountain-Plains curriculum delivery system, including various flow charts, diagrams, and forms. Chapter 2 discusses how the test center fits into the system, and chapter 3 explains the instructor data reporting subsystem and its relationship to the total system. A sample curriculum unit (CE 014 647) and an instructor's guide (CE 014 652) are also available. (Additional Mountain Plains curriculum materials, including twenty-two instructional units, are available for on-site inspection at the Research Library at the National Center for Research in Vocational Education at the Ohio State University.)
