- Performance Measures in Rhode Island Libraries. Jones, Beverly A. Evaluation Library Services Library Surveys Public Libraries Tables (Data) Use Studies A compilation of statewide results of a performance measurement survey using the DeProspo/Altman model is presented. The survey measures books and periodical availability; analyzes questions asked and the degree of user satisfaction with services; measures in-house use of both materials and equipment; and identifies availability of staff. Extreme and median figures for all categories, and comparable figures from DeProspo's larger surveyed libraries, where available, are given. Some immediate interpretations indicate types of users and usage of individual libraries. This report is primarily intended as an aid to assist participating libraries by making available results from other libraries of a comparable size. (Author)
