The contents are organized according to the Dewey Decimal Classification System: Generalities; Philosophy; Social Sciences; Folklore; Pure Science; Applied Science; Arts; Music; Recreation; Literature; Geography and History; Collective Biography; Individual Biography; Fiction; Story Collections; and Easy. Each entry is given subject headings based on the Sears List of Subject Headings. Some entries have brief annotations, all entries are photocopied library catalog cards. Suggested grade levels are also indicated as follows: Primary (K-3); Intermediate (4-6); Junior High (7-9); and Senior High (10-12). In some instances, additional comments regarding maturity level, reading level, and interest level are given. (Author/MC)
