Annual Reports Information Needs Library Networks State Libraries Tables (Data) The activities of the State Library Commission of North Dakota from July 1975 to June 1977 are summarized. Areas discussed include trends in State Library service; conclusions and recommendations by HEW and the Office of Education pertaining to the administration of the Library Services and Construction Act (LSCA) in North Dakota; the setting up of a state advisory council on libraries; school and public library service combinations; the proposed move to new quarters by the State Library in 1981; bicentennial celebration; talking book service; state document depository; state plan for library development; state penitentiary library; publications; state government service; use of the state computer; the traveling library collection; library service statistics; and MINITEX service. Tables on the state library collection, the loan of their materials and their expenditures, a fiscal report on the North Dakota Network for Knowledge, and statistics on the state library staff are also provided, as well as listing of LSCA projects with brief descriptions.
