contents A Bibliography of Philosophy. Smith, Marilynn K. Academic Education Bibliographies Educational Resources Instructional Materials Library Collections Philosophy Until 1970 the philosophy resources at the Academy Library were used in connection with academic studies in English, history, social sciences, or an occasional philosophy course. During that year philosophy courses were re-introduced into the regular academic program and the development of the philosophy collection was begun. This bibliography combines two aspects of the developing collection: first, it lists some of the works that any undergraduate academic library should have; and second, it is designed to render more accessible to the Cadets some of the book resources available in support of the philosophy classes. The first section of the bibliography is an arrangement by name of the philosopher and includes one or more of his works and/or one or more critical works about him. The second section is composed of general works and is arranged by author. The material included is largely oriented towards Western philosophical thought. (Author/JAB)
