(These pictorial representations of the human body, showing ways by which it could be attacked by weapons of war, were popular in Western Europe during the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance.) Also provided are a listing of books on military medicine which are available in the USMA Library and bibliographies with references to materials on the history and evolution of military medicine and surgery, with a special list for works describing contributions of Army doctors to medicine and science.
