Topics discussed by the speakers include (1) specific guidelines administrators should follow in order to integrate the library media program successfully with curriculum; (2) the roles and functions of key personnel within the school in this integration process; (3) definition and elements of instructional development--setting objectives, constructing learning strategies, evaluating outcomes of instruction, and revising instructional programs; (4) potential contributions of the media specialist to the instructional development process at various stages in relation to these elements; and (5) specific steps administrators must take to help the library media program become a vital, integrated force within the school curriculum.
