Audiovisual Aids Citations (References) College Students Guidelines Guides Standards Theses The need for a uniform style for bibliographic citations and corresponding footnote references has become evident as more students cite nonprint media resources in their termpapers and theses. This style manual was developed for use by students in undergraduate courses in the Education Media Department of Millersville State College as well as practitioners in the fields of education, library science, and educational technology. It includes sample footnote references and bibliographic citations for specific types of nonprint materials in a variety of formats: (1) charts; (2) dioramas; (3) filmstrips--silent and sound; (4) flashcards; (5) games; (6) globes; (7) kits (exhibits, laboratory, multimedia, and programmed instructional kits); (8) maps; (9) microforms; (10) microscope slides; (11) models; (12) motion pictures; (13) pictures (art originals, prints, photographs, postcards, posters, and study prints); (14) realia; (15) slides; (16) sound recordings; (17) transparencies; and (18) videorecordings. Appendices include a list of abbreviations, a glossary of terms, an index, and a bibliography.
