Section I is a general introduction to the course manual including purpose and scope, course orientation, and topics to be covered. Section II suggests personal qualifications and characteristics of applicants to be used as criteria in the selection of course participants. Section III discusses methods of instruction, use of media, and the role of directors, faculty, and participants as instructional resources. Section IV outlines the qualifications of program directors and faculty. Facilities and services necessary for hosting the course are covered in Section V. Section VI provides an illustrative program for a two-week, ten session workshop. Ten topical outlines plus a bibliography for each session are included. (JAB)
