Conferences Definitions Glossaries Information Science Library Science Word Lists This glossary was compiled to provide reference material for participants at Hawaii's Second Governor's Conference on Library and Information Services and is especially useful to those individuals not familiar with the terminology of the library and information sciences. Entries consist of 194 names, acronyms, and other terms which are arranged in a single alphabet and briefly defined. Terms for the glossary were selected by a task force on the basis of an outline of topics to be discussed at the conference. (Author/JPF)
