Dittmar, Jeanne Academic Libraries Attitudes Chemistry College Libraries English Financial Support Guidelines History Integrated Curriculum Library Instruction Library Services Problems Questionnaires Tables (Data) The integration of library instruction within established courses offered by academic departments at the State University College at Potsdam is discussed. A report of the year's activities, which are funded by a grant from the Council on Library Resources, is followed by the library director's assessment of staff skills required for program participation and remarks regarding the program's impact on services, and faculty and student attitudes. The project librarian reports on her activities and includes guidelines used in developing self-instructional materials, a strategy for introducing the program to the teaching faculty, sample outlines for pilot programs in chemistry, English, and history, and an analysis of the student questionnaire used to evaluate the program. Also included are a brief description of the institution and its libraries, a copy of the student evaluative questionnaire, and a financial report. (Author/MBR)
