The regional concept provides for the delivery of instruction, research, and public service programs of the university to the area's sparsely-distributed population. This report reviews several aspects of the colleges in the region, including: institutional objectives and statement of purposes; finance; physical plant, materials, and equipment; library; educational program; instructional staff; administration; special services and activities; research; and graduate programs. Student issues discussed include: admissions, registrar, orientation, advisement counseling and testing, financial aid, book store, housing and food services, health services, extracurricular activities, athletics, placement, and alumni relations. A list of reference documents to self-study is appended. (LBH)
