Course Descriptions Curriculum Librarians Library Education Library Schools Library Services Minority Groups School Libraries Spanish Speaking This institute was designed to retrain ten teachers representing minority populations to serve as school librarians in their communities. The final report describes the goals and objectives of the program; selection and performance criteria for the program's participants; curriculum--course descriptions, requirements, required and independent readings and assignments; special activities; faculty members, financial expenditures; and the evaluation process. Although a formal team evaluation was conducted, it is not included in this report. Bibliographies and a vocabulary handbook developed by participants in the program are described in the related documents. (JPF)
