  • Canadian Economics: A Student's Guide to Reference Sources. Silvester, Elizabeth, Comp. Annotated Bibliographies Area Studies Bibliographies College Libraries Directories Doctoral Dissertations Economics Guides Higher Education Information Sources Labor Library Collections Library Facilities Library Guides Library Services Reference Materials Reference Services Resource Materials Statistics Surveys This guide cites over 50 reference resources dealing with Canadian economics which are in the McLennan Library at McGill University. The introduction identifies some important sources of information on economics which are not included in this guide. Among these are government publications (only a few specialized government documents are cited in the guide) and annual reports of Canadian companies. The guide itself consists of four sections. The first section cites reviews and surveys from Canada and Quebec. Directories are listed in section two. The third section contains bibliographies divided into the following categories: guides; general; economics and statistics; socio-economics; labor; and theses. The fourth and final section treats newspaper and periodical indexes. Each entry gives information on author, title, publisher, dates, volumes in the library, McLennan Library catalog number, and a brief annotation. (RM)
