The guide is presented in chart form with each page listing topics and subtopics, performance objectives, space for a time line, references to pertinent textbook sections, references to related activities (described in the appendixes), and space for the teacher to enter activities and comments. Appendixes suggest expectation levels for each grade, present performance objectives for a basic library curriculum, and provide 77 pages of related activity descriptions arranged according to grade.
